JULY MEMBERSHIP MEETING and CONTRACT VOTE NOTICE A Tentative Contract Agreement was reached between the UE Negotiating Committee and GE on Sunday, June 17, 2007. The UE-GE Conference Board met in New York on Tuesday and the UE Local 506 Executive Board met on Wednesday to review the memorandum of agreement. Both groups voted to recommend acceptance.Contract Explanation/Vote on Tentative Agreement Before voting on the contract, all UE Local 506 Members are encouraged to attend one of the scheduled meetings listed below. During the meetings, the Officers will explain the tentative contract package and answer your questions. For your convenience, you can attend the meeting that best fits your schedule.The contract meetings will be considered as the regular July meeting; however, the reading of the minutes and financial report will be suspended until the August Meetings.
